Dr. Marin Smillov is a Professor of Philosophy at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. He earned his MA and Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Florida. For more than 20 years, Dr. Smillov has taught courses in Logic, Ethics, Philosophy, Business Ethics and Medical Ethics. He has held teaching positions at the University of Florida, the University of Central Florida, and the University of North Florida. Dr. Smillov has served on the boards of many national and international academic organizations. His educational goal is to demonstrate the relevance of philosophy to all aspect of our lives. He is a Fellow of the American Philosophical Practitioners Association (APPA) and has certifications in Philosophical Counseling and Organizational Consulting. Dr. Smillov is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Court Civil Mediator.
