This is a book of stories about women who have been lost and overlooked. Or doing their best in our community without recognition or applause.

The stories are in A – Z order by last name, each name comes with a story and a picture, spanning decades, careers, and diverse backgrounds.

You’ll meet artists and activists, bakers and comic book authors, photojournalists and politicians, and much more!

These women are a representative part of Muncie, Indiana history.  We should know their stories and celebrate their lives. They deserve to be heard. So, let’s meet them!
