John Chiego is an active performer, educator and clinician with a wide variety of experience in both classical and popular music.  He is the Principal Bassist of the Memphis Symphony and has taught at summer music festivals across the U.S. including the Brevard Music Center.  Mr. Chiego has performed solo recitals and given Master Classes across the U.S. and Europe and at The International Society of Bassists worldwide conventions.  The breadth of his educational and performing experiences allows him to bring a fresh approach to the teaching of Music Appreciation.
