The goal of Namasté: The Art & Practice of Yoga, is to introduce the first-time yogi to yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation techniques, and healing modalities for the energetic anatomy. This resource includes numerous photos, tips and benefits of each pose, links to additional resources, and suggestions on how to implement various modalities into a yoga practice. Upon completion of the book, the student will have a basic understanding of the holistic practices that yoga encompasses and will feel confident taking more yoga classes and practicing on their own. This is also an excellent resource for those offering yoga 200 hour teacher training programs.
