"Toran Hansen's latest book, "From No Way to A-Ok" is a valuable contribution to the literature on getting along with others, even if we strongly disagree. Written in an enjoyable, conversational style with user-friendly "key points" highlighted, it places the center of attention on our own recognition and management of our own emotions, utilizing them as valuable data to "pull together" instead of "pulling apart."
Neil H Katz, PhD, Professor, Department of Conflict Resolution Studies, Nova Southeastern University and Professor Emeritus, Maxwell School, Syracuse University

"As a professor of conflict resolution for over two decades, I was truly inspired by From No Way to A-OK. Dr. Hansen brings a refreshing and1 much-needed focus to the emotional, relational, and moral dimensions of conflict, offering guidance that feels real, compassionate, and profoundly impactful. Written from the conflict party's perspective, it provides clarity and empowerment at moments when people need it most. It is the rare and exceptional kind of book I would confidently give to my friends and family to help them understand conflict and navigate it with confidence and calm."
Alexia Georgakopoulos, PhD, Professor of Conflict Resolution, Department of Conflict Resolution Studies, Nova Southeastern University

"In the book, "From No Way to A-OK: Resolving Conflicts with the Emotions First Approach," Dr. Hansen provides a much-needed perspective on conflict and conflict resolution. The book uniquely enhances the role of human emotions in conflict, negotiation, and conflict resolution by using strikingly original strategies.
