Not Your Momma’s Feminism: Introduction to Women’s & Gender Studies is a textbook designed primarily for use in the introductory course in the field of Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS) with the intent of providing both a skills- and concept-based foundation in the field. The text is driven by a single key question: “What are the ways of thinking, seeing, and knowing that characterize our field & the importance of those in feminism?” This textbook aims to introduce students to how these concepts provide a feminist lens across the disciplines and outside the classroom.
