Anna Ursyn, Ph.D., is a professor of Computer Graphics at the University of Northern Colorado. She combines programming, software, and various media. Ursyn had over 50 single juried and invitational art shows, over 200 fine art exhibitions, such as over a dozen times at ACM SIGGRAPH Art Galleries, traveling shows at the Louvre, Paris, NTT Museum in Tokyo (5000 texts and 2000 images representing the 20th Century), Virtual Media Network, and moving image outdoor display in Dallas, TX.
Carnegie Mellon University’s MoonArk|Moon Museum selected her work, and NASA sent it to the Moon, with traveling shows, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and in the permanent art collection of the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum. Her work was featured in the Denver Capitol and the Denver International Airport. Research and pedagogical interests include integrated instruction in art, science, and computer graphics. She has artwork in several books and journals.
