Over the past three decades, Trey and Ariel Fernald have partnered to write, direct, cast, and produce, over 100 pieces for the stage and screen between the two. Their works include sketches, human videos, one-act plays, full length plays, musicals, talk shows and film scripts. Trey and Ariel are also authors of the book, Producing Drama for Ministry which is being used by both ministries and universities around the country.
Their most acclaimed live production, The Last Appeal, is a powerful story written by Trey and cast by Ariel that originated as a touring stage show and was later filmed for TV. TLA has been viewed by over fifteen million people worldwide. The Trey and Ariel are co-founders of Eastern Sky Theatre Company and serve as the Artistic Director and President for the last fifteen years. Over the course of their careers, they have mobilized hundreds of Christian artists to impact the world for Christ. In addition, they are adjunct professors at multiple universities, public speakers, and ministers of the gospel. Trey is also an accomplished actor. Trey and Ariel are Chapman University graduates who cherish their university experience of studying Theatre in London.
Their most recent film titled, Bringing Back Christmas swept film festivals and debuted November 2023. It can now be seen on multiple platforms including Apple TV, Amazon and Vudu. The Fernalds are currently working on a documentary title, “Singled Out”, which will be released later this year as well as preparing for filming there next feature script, ETERNAL REALM.
