As instructors in graduate programs that train educational diagnosticians, licensed specialists in school psychology, and other evaluation specialists for work in school systems, we have found that one of the most difficult concepts to teach revolves around writing psychoeducational reports. Students struggle to apply report writing skills in real-world settings and often times have a significant amount of difficulty constructing a readable psychoeducational report that is cohesive and user-friendly. “Report Writing Boot Camp” was created specifically for this purpose: this workbook uses a simple hands-on approach to help students and entry-level evaluators understand how to construct a psychoeducational report. Using a pair of scissors and a glue stick, users will create a much needed resource for use as practitioners as they begin their careers in this field.
