Francesca Kendris

Dr. Francesca Kendris is a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of teaching and supervision experience at the graduate level. She has also worked in a clinical capacity for ten years in public and private k-12 schools including Rossier Private School in Garden Grove, CA and Hoover Street Elementary School in Los Angeles, CA. In addition, for over 5 years, she has provided psychological services to college students at Whittier College Counseling Center, University of Southern California Counseling Center and the Center for Counseling and Human Development at Bloomsburg University. For the past 10 years, she has been a faculty member in the graduate school counseling program at The Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania (formerly Bloomsburg University). Prior to this, she taught at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, North Park University, and Lewis University in Illinois in both graduate and undergraduate counseling/psychology programs. At the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, her primary duties have involved developing the overall school counseling program as well as teaching and supervising students in the program. Since the program’s inception in 2008, she has taught and supervised students taking group counseling and leadership courses. As a result of her vast amount of clinical, teaching, and supervising experience, Dr. Kendris has a wealth of information to share with students who are preparing to work as school counselors and to lead groups in a public, private or virtual K-12 school.
