Chiquia Lewis is a Professor of Communications at Broward College in Davie, Florida, United States, where she is passionate about helping students develop confidence, clarity, and purpose in their communication. She holds two bachelor’s degrees in Education and Business Management, and a master’s degree in Communications, bringing an inter disciplinary approach to teaching and mentoring others. 

She is the author of Speak Confidently Now— Affirmations and Journal for Speakers (2023), a motivational resource designed to encourage speakers to overcome fear and embrace the value of their voice. Chiquia is also the CEO of CL Intentional LLC, where she serves as a communications consultant, workshop facilitator, and youth mentor. Her work focuses on building confident and collaborative communication frameworks that empower individuals in academic, professional, and personal settings. 

Drawing from her experiences as a professor, sign language interpreter, and liaison to physicians for lecture preparation, Chiquia understands the transformative power of communication across diverse audiences and environments. She finds great joy in preparing students, professionals, and everyone she encounters to recognize the value in their words and allow that belief to fuel their confidence when speaking.
