Imran has worked as a college educator for more than 14 years at several different universities. He was co-founder on a small business venture for five years, serving as director of operations. Haider joined the Murrow College at Washington State University in 2020, teaching Public Speaking. In the past, he has presented research on the misperception of terrorism in mainstream news and after traveling to Karachi in 2016, how the culture of (individualism and uncertainty avoidance) in Karachi, Pakistan is misconceived. Imran has also built the course DEI in Communication Organizations, the first class of its kind for the Murrow College.Over the years, Imran has been able to present at numerous events, conferences, and workshops in front of groups of a dozen to over 200 persons. He enjoys presentational speaking and believes that it is an improvable skill that anyone can do well with the right mindset.
Teena has a MS in Education. She has been an educator for 12 years and has been at Washington State University for the last 5 years. Prior to Washington State University, she taught in the local public schools. She is an Assistant Teaching Professor and the Director of Public Speaking. Edwards believes that with practice and the right mindset anyone can speak publicly. Everyone wants to be heard, they just need to find their voice.
