Monique Schubert, MFA, E-RYT 500, artist, educator and author, uses the tools of yoga, mindfulness, art and music to create sparks, offer guidance, and support connection. Over the past 20 plus years Monique has established an eclectic teaching practice in New York City and the surrounding boroughs. She has been an adjunct lecturer at the Bronx Community College since 2006, teaching yoga, stress management and critical thinking to successive generations of citizen scholars.
Through her work with cultural institutions and community-based organizations, Monique has created engaging and interactive programs that expand the reach of yoga and mindfulness through classes, workshops and yoga-teacher preparation programs.
