As a self-motivated author, she understands that writing is an "Art". It is her "Storytelling" writing style that made her writing journey easy. In 2022, she became an author and wrote the published textbook entitled "Strategic Communication and Leading Change in the Workplace"; which has many take-a-ways. Seventeen (17) plus years of lecturing various business courses, enabled her to transfer the knowledge and lived experience onto each page of her 1st textbook.

Her academic journey begun January 2, 2001, at Broward Community College, now known as Broward College, as the support staff to the Dean of Academic Affairs. Her goal to positively contribute to a multicultural student population, advanced her career to becoming a student advisor in all business degrees. Earning her Masters degree in Business Administration, in 2007, she began lecturing various business courses at Broward College.
