Sword and Shovel: Breaking Ground for Deeper Faith

For over 15 years, I have been teaching, preaching, and educating people from all walks of life, ages, creeds, and confessions about the Bible. When I began writing this book, God brought recurring themes to my mind –topics I use to help others understand significant and challenging doctrines. These doctrines, foundational to the Christian life, are often overlooked from the pulpit. I enjoy presenting themes that challenge and encourage critical thinking.  While not everyone may agree with the ideas in this book, I urge you to read with an open mind, allowing your understanding of God to expand. Making God bigger in our minds can resolve many of the tensions we face in our faith. Beholding God’s glory a little more each day is the only way to have lasting change in this life.
