Dr. John Tamilio III is a Professor of Philosophy at Salem State University and the Pastor of the Congregational Church of Canton (NACCC). His research interests include ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, post-modernism (mainly deconstruction), and the poetry of T.S. Eliot. His undergraduate degree is from Salem State, and he holds graduate degrees from Northeastern University (M.A.) and Andover Newton Seminary (M.Div.). He earned his Ph.D. at Boston University and conducted post-doctoral work at Harvard University. A professional musician and internationally published scholar and poet, Tamilio lives in the Boston area with his wife, Cindy.
