Montero
Professor Jorge Montero is a graphic designer, illustrator, visual artist, author, and educator with a distinguished teaching career spanning over three decades. Montero holds an MA and MFA in Graphic Design from the University of Iowa. Since 2003, he has been a professor at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Montero's teaching excellence has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the 2003 Shuhmacher Guest Professorship from the University of Dortmund, Germany, the 2019 Oversea Professorship from the Republic of China, and the 2018 Fulbright Award from the American Embassy in Bahrain. He has lectured and taught in over 20 countries, including the USA, Germany, France, Spain, and China, and has collaborated with clients in China, the US, and Venezuela as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. His artwork and designs have been exhibited globally, showcasing his unique perspective and creative vision.
