Starting from the foundation that “Wisdom is applied experience,” this book gathers and fuses experiences from peoples of dozens of countries and professions and walks of life throughout recorded history. Then, practical real-life exercises in each chapter give the reader guided opportunities to broaden their perspective on life and become wiser in their own right.

Recent graduates who have yet to experience much of the world may stand to gain the most from “Why and How to Be Wise,” but it is the rare person who will already know all that this book has to offer. Approach with an open yet discerning mind – after all, what other approach would we deem wise?

Danny Birt

Danny has learned much over the years and still has a way to go. As a therapist he has worked with people of every age group from premature infants in the NICU through elderly in hospice care, and returned full circle to help nurture the next generation of therapists by teaching at university. As an author he has published award-winning speculative fiction, been on both sides of the peer-reviewed journal process, and published a few music albums along the way, too.
