The purpose of Write Now is to provide beginning ESL students at the adult and young adult levels with writing practice using effective models. This text gives students the opportunity to write, taking into account that awareness of sentence structure, correct punctuation, and the rules of capitalization in English are part of the process of becoming a good writer.

Write Now:

  • Encourages students to become independent writers
  • Chapters include a short composition written in a descriptive mode, followed by comprehension, grammar, and writing exercises
  • Includes additional pages for vocabulary work such as spelling quizzes
