THE WRITER'S PATH: CREATIVE EXERCISES FOR MEANINGFUL ESSAYS

Charlotte Pence earned a B.A. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and  M.F.A. in writing and Publishing from Emerson College, Boston. She has taught composition for seven years, the last six years at Belmont University in Nashville. In addition to teaching composition and poetry writing, her work has been published in a variety of journals such as Southern Poetry Review, The Seattle Review, and Maryland Review, In 2003, the Tennessee Arts Commission awarded her the Individual Artist Fellowship in Poetry.
