Ann Bainbridge Frymier (Miami University), co-author of Persuasion: Integrating Theory, Research, and Practice presents a webinar that provides, tips, tricks, and insight to teach the persuasion course.

Dr. Frymier encourages instructors to approach persuasion from both theoretical and practical standpoints. The underlying premise is that the practice of persuasion is most successful when guided by theory, and a good theory applied well is a practical tool. Research connects theory to practice and creates understanding of the persuasion process.

This interactive session will:
■ present the value of persuasion in society and the workplace.
■ discuss some of the challenges instructors encounter when teaching the persuasion course.
■ examines the benefits of teaching persuasion through a fusion of theoretical and practical perspectives.
