As an educator in public, private, mission, or homeschool settings, have you ever asked yourself the following questions:
- How do I integrate biblical content within my subject matter?
- How do I ensure that my students have a biblical foundation?
- How can I think about my work as a teacher through a framework of biblical integration?
- How do I prepare my students to understand the Christian worldview, as well as other worldviews, in order to navigate in an increasingly secular society?
- What vocabulary will help me articulate my view of biblical integration in my classroom context?
If you have asked these questions, you are not alone. Biblical Integration Models for Education provides you, the educator, with accessible tools for thinking biblically about the work of teaching as well as your subject matter. Foundational models, relational models, and cross-disciplinary curricular models provide you categories for engagement that can be practically applied across educational contexts.
No matter your school setting, this book will invigorate your classroom ministry, inspire you to think through integrative concepts, and sharpen your tools as a Spirit-led, classroom educator. The book has something new for every teacher, whether you are a novice, developing, or seasoned teacher. Transform your classroom approach by recognizing that God has revealed Himself through all of Creation (general revelation) and through all the subjects, along with His Word (special revelation) and His Spirit.
