Randall S. Upchurch

Randall S. Upchurch is a professor in the School of Resort & Hospitality Management at Florida Gulf Coast University. With nearly three decades of professional experience in the timeshare industry, he is widely recognized as a leading academic expert in timeshare resort operations, resort development, tourism, strategic management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and consumer-focused innovation. Dr. Upchurch has developed specialized curricula in timeshare and fractional resort development, published more than 70 scholarly articles, and authored textbooks. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Counseling and Personnel Services, and a Ph.D. in Practical Arts and Vocational Technical Education from the University of Missouri–Columbia.

Catherine Curtis

Catherine Johnson Curtis is a professor in the School of Resort & Hospitality Management at Florida Gulf Coast University's Lutgert College of Business. Her teaching and research focus on hospitality management, tourism management, and hospitality education. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Rider University, a Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management Education from the University of Central Florida.
