We have drawn on our combined expertise and experience in exercise physiology, athletic training, scientific research and teaching. One of the primary reasons for writing this book is to show students that becoming fit and well can greatly improve the quality of their life. We want to motivate students to make healthy choices and provide them with the tools for making sound decisions that have the power to shape their future.
