Dr. José I. Rodríguez began teaching at the university level when Madonna was actively promoting her Material Self as The Material Girl. At that time, as a junior at Long Beach State, Dr. Rodríguez was recruited to teach a popular facilitation course, focusing on interpersonal communication. Today, he is celebrating his third decade of teaching communication and a variety of other courses and workshops at colleges, universities, and organizations throughout the country.

Vikki Baltimore-Dale is a choreographer, author, visual artist, and full professor of jazz dance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She performed with the George Faison’s Universal Dance Experience in New York City and the D.C. Black Repertory Dance Company. Her film credits include The Wiz, The Blues Brothers, and One from the Heart. She also performed on Broadway in Bubbling Brown Sugar.
